Our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, in plain English.
Last updated: August 15, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Dispatchr. By creating an account or using our services — including this website and the dashboard at my.dispatchr.app — you’re agreeing to them.
Dispatchr provides virtual phone numbers and call handling services, such as Smart Call Forward, which routes incoming calls to the people you configure — on schedules, with fallbacks, or several at once. We build telephone solutions for businesses; the specifics of your service are whatever plan you sign up for.
You need an account to use our services. Keep your login credentials safe — you’re responsible for what happens under your account. Give us accurate contact and billing information and keep it up to date, since we use it to reach you and to bill you correctly.
Use the service lawfully and reasonably. In particular, you agree not to:
If you do, we can suspend or terminate your account.
Dispatchr numbers are for receiving and forwarding calls. They are not a telephone line and are not a substitute for emergency services. Do not rely on Dispatchr to reach 911.
Plans are billed monthly, with per-minute charges for usage beyond what your plan includes, exactly as stated on our pricing. Pricing is in CAD for Canadian billing addresses and USD everywhere else, plus applicable taxes. If your account is unpaid, we may suspend service until it’s settled.
We build for reliability, with redundancy and fault tolerance in mind — but telephone networks involve carriers and infrastructure we don’t control, and we can’t guarantee uninterrupted service.
You can cancel at any time; billing stops at the end of your current billing period. We can terminate accounts that violate these terms. When an account closes, its virtual numbers may be released.
The service is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. We’re not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including missed calls or lost business.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we’ll post it here and note the date above; continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
These terms are governed by Canadian law. If anything here is unclear, contact us and we’ll explain it like humans.

Dispatchr is a Canadian company, and we handle personal information in accordance with Canada’s PIPEDA. The short version: we collect what we need to run your phone service and bill you, we keep it in Canada, and we don’t sell it. Ever.
To provide and route your calls, to bill you accurately, to answer your questions, and to keep the service working well. That’s it — we don’t sell your information or use it for third-party advertising.
Our data lives in Canada and stays in Canada.
Only service providers we need to run the business — such as the telephone carriers that connect your calls and the providers that process payments and host our website — and only what they need to do their job. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
For as long as your account is active, plus whatever we’re required to keep for billing, tax, and legal purposes. When it’s no longer needed, we delete it.
Under PIPEDA you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw consent (which may mean we can’t provide the service). Contact us and we’ll sort it out. If you’re not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
If we change how we handle your information, we’ll update this page and the date above.
